Shit vs Arsenal - as it is

Phew. It was a really close match, if not too close. First half was good. Arsenal has a good strategy. Second half though, was too nervy for me. Arsenal stuck to the same strategy they had in the first half, and Shits had a good halftime talk plus nearly capitalized on it. Too dangerous playing the defensive game for Arsenal, to me. However, a win is a win. And a win makes me feel good.

Talking Point 1: Don't play the defensive game anymore
Arsenal clearly thought they were up against Bayern again, when it was just Shit. There is no need to play the defensive cum counter game. Although it paid off in the first half with that wonder goal, it nearly backfired in the second when Shits were holding too much possession. C'mon Arsenal, you know you can dominate possession, but why give it to them? Oh and Chambo SHOULD have score that one on one chance. Sigh..

Talking Point 2: Giroud not on par
People keep talking about how slow Giroud is and how frustrating it is to see him play. Honestly, I am going to agree with them after today. Giroud's first touch has been AMAZING all season long, but anything beyond the first touch will always lead to something bad. How often do you see Olivier control the ball to perfection and scoring it himself? Nay. He DOES have a good assist record but that is not a striker's main role. You are a striker for goodness sake. Your main job is to score the goals. And he has not scored enough goals, in my opinion, this season. Arsenal could have been far ahead of Chelsea if Giroud had been better. C'mon man, we are counting on you! Get in!

Talking Point 3: Arsenal will win the league
Simply because they have the right mindset. Liverpool will not win because they only have SAS. Chelsea will not because they only have a good manager. Take those away, what are they? Nothing. I guess the only worry for Arsenal would be MC, who happily thrashed Arsenal 6-3. It's time to bring the fight to the Citizens and take back the glory. Win City, win the league.

But for this match against Shit, a win is a win. And Rozza is on fire! Keep the fire burning, Tom!
